FAQ
Questions we get asked
Why do prices vary by region?
Mostly labour rates, parking and access. Independent 2026 data shows single-room systems starting around £1,500 in London against under £1,000 in parts of Scotland, Wales and the North East.
Are these prices fixed?
No, they are guide ranges. Your fixed price for an installation comes in writing after a survey; visit prices for servicing and repairs are agreed before we come.
Do prices include VAT?
Guide prices include VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
What is not included?
Building work such as making good plaster, decorating, scaffolding beyond a tower, and major electrical upgrades are quoted separately where needed.
