A single-room wall-mounted system typically costs £1,150–£2,450 fitted including VAT in 2026, a 2–4 room multi-split £2,450–£6,950, and ducted systems £5,450–£12,950. Prices vary by region and installation. Our survey and written quote are free.

For new installations on the UK mainland, yes: the survey and written quote cost nothing and you are under no obligation. Surveys on islands not joined by a bridge and in remote parts of the Highlands and Argyll are by arrangement, with any travel cost quoted first. Repair and service visits are charged at a price agreed before we visit.

Lead times depend on the season and the job. We give you an installation date with your quote. Spring is usually the easiest time to book before summer.

Installations are carried out by F-gas certified engineers working for us. Your contract is with S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd, which trades as Aircon Installers. Your quote names who will do the work and the F-gas company certificate that covers it.

Yes. Almost every split system sold today is a reversible heat pump that heats efficiently in winter.

Most houses in England and Wales can have an outdoor unit under permitted development if size, number and noise conditions are met. Flats, listed buildings and some homes in conservation areas need permission or consent. We check on survey.

Air-to-air heat pumps installed by an MCS-certified installer can qualify for a £2,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant in eligible homes in England and Wales, as long as no gas, oil or LPG boiler stays in use. We check eligibility with you.

We fit systems from established manufacturers and choose models to suit the room, budget and noise needs. Your quote names the exact make and model.

Most single rooms take one day. Multi-room systems take one to three days, ducted systems longer.

We protect floors and furniture, keep drilling dust to a minimum and clean up before we leave.

Once a year for most homes. Larger systems above the F-gas thresholds also need documented leak checks.
