Who it suits
- Bay windows and period rooms
- Rooms with sloping ceilings
- Conservatories with low walls
- Rooms mostly needing winter warmth
Why choose a console over a wall unit?
Consoles heat very well because warm air starts at floor level, so they suit rooms used mostly in winter or rooms with sloping ceilings. They are also easier to reach for filter cleaning. For pure summer cooling a high wall unit throws cold air further, so we recommend whichever fits how the room is used.
Can a console replace a radiator?
Often, yes. In period homes we can site the console where a radiator was, which keeps the room layout familiar. If you keep your boiler and radiators, the console simply adds efficient cooling and top-up heating.

If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
UK middle prices. London and the South East are typically higher and much of the North, Scotland and Wales a little lower; see your area page for a local figure.
