Common questions about repairs and replacement
Why is water dripping from my indoor unit?
Usually a blocked drain line or a failed condensate pump. It is a quick repair, but switch the unit off to avoid damage.
Can you just top up my air conditioning?
Not without finding and repairing the leak. Topping up a leaking system wastes money and releases greenhouse gases.
Is it worth replacing an old system that still works?
If it is R22 or very old, yes, plan a replacement before it fails, because any leak will end it. Newer systems are also far more efficient.
