What does a garden room need first?
A suitable electrical supply. Most garden rooms are fed by an armoured cable to their own small consumer unit; we check that it can take the extra load. The wall must also be strong enough to carry the indoor unit, so we confirm the frame or fixing points.
Where does the outdoor unit go?
Beside or behind the building on a ground stand or anti-vibration feet, with a short pipe run. We keep it clear of boundaries where possible and check noise to the nearest neighbouring window.
What is included
- Free survey including the garden room's electrics
- Compact inverter unit sized to the space
- Fixings into frame or solid sections
- Short pipe run to a ground-mounted outdoor unit
- Pressure test, vacuum and commissioning
- Handover and timer set-up for working hours

Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
UK middle prices. London and the South East are typically higher and much of the North, Scotland and Wales a little lower; see your area page for a local figure.
