Who it suits
- Units with a musty smell
- Black specks on the fan
- Water dripping from the front
- Systems not serviced for years
When does a unit need a deep clean?
When it smells musty or damp on start-up, when you can see dust or black growth on the fan blades through the outlet, when it drips water from the front, or when it has not been serviced for a couple of years. A routine service keeps things clean; a deep clean restores a unit that has got dirty.
Is it messy?
No. The cleaning bag catches the rinse water and runs it into a bucket, and dust sheets protect the floor and furniture beneath the unit.
How often is it needed?
Most homes only need a deep clean every few years if the system is serviced annually. Kitchens, pets and homes near busy roads may need it more often.
