Who it suits
- Systems without app control
- Holiday homes and annexes
- Landlords managing systems remotely
- Households who forget to switch off
Will my system work with Wi-Fi?
Check the indoor unit's model number. Many manufacturers sell a plug-in Wi-Fi adapter for their recent ranges. If yours is not compatible, an infrared smart controller that mimics the remote is often a workable alternative. We confirm compatibility before booking.
What can you do with smart control?
Turn the system on before you get home, set weekly schedules, limit temperatures, switch off a room you forgot, and in some cases see energy use. It is also useful for landlords and holiday-let owners managing systems remotely.
Does it need a strong signal?
Yes, the indoor unit needs a reliable Wi-Fi signal where it is mounted. We check signal strength at the unit during the visit.
