Floor console air conditioning across Clwyd
Where a house in Wrexham has a bay window, a console can sit where the radiator was. If your home in Wrexham is bay-fronted or period, a console often suits it better than a high wall unit. In North Wales, an air-to-air system can be an efficient way to heat holiday homes and bungalows, with cooling as a bonus.

Planning and permissions
In Wales, outdoor units of up to 1.5 m³ that meet MCS 020a noise limits are usually permitted development on houses; listed buildings need consent, and in conservation areas a unit cannot go on a wall or roof facing a road.
The survey
On a survey in Clwyd the engineer looks at room size, glazing, the route for pipes and drains, the electrics and where the outdoor unit can sit quietly, then the written quote follows. The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote.
