Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades across Powys
Smart control is a simple upgrade for Newtown homes with a working system but no app. For a holiday home or annexe near Newtown, Wi-Fi control lets you warm it up before anyone arrives. Humid summer spells in South Wales make dehumidifying and cooling equally welcome.
Prices in Powys
For Powys, expect roughly £85 to £270 per indoor unit, VAT included, adjusted for typical South and Mid Wales rates. It is a touch below the UK middle, as trade rates in South and Mid Wales tend to be. More indoor units, or older models that need an infrared controller instead of a plug-in adapter, are what move the price. On our South and Mid Wales figures, the Whole system option (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) is about £225–£545.

Permissions
No planning or refrigerant work is involved in adding app control. If you rent your home in Powys, a quick word with your landlord is still sensible before anything is fitted.
The visit
We agree the visit price before we come. On the day the engineer checks the system, carries out the agreed work and talks you through anything they find. A photo of the indoor unit's label and a short description of the problem help us price the visit accurately and bring what is likely to be needed.
