Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades across Clwyd
For a holiday home or annexe near Wrexham, Wi-Fi control lets you warm it up before anyone arrives. Most home systems from the last decade can take a plug-in Wi-Fi adapter, and we confirm yours from the model number before visiting Wrexham. Mild North Wales summers mean heat pump heating is usually the headline benefit.
Prices in Clwyd
In North Wales, our guide range for smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades is £90–£275 per indoor unit, including VAT. It is a touch below the UK middle, as trade rates in North Wales tend to be. The price depends on how many indoor units need a module and whether your model takes a manufacturer adapter or an infrared controller. For reference, the Whole system option in Clwyd (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) usually comes to about £230–£545.

Permissions
Fitting a Wi-Fi module does not touch the refrigerant circuit and needs no planning permission; the only checks are model compatibility and a reliable signal at the indoor unit.
The visit
Visits in Clwyd are booked at a price agreed with you in advance. If the engineer finds anything beyond the agreed work, they explain it and price it before carrying it out. A photo of the indoor unit's label and a short description of the problem help us price the visit accurately and bring what is likely to be needed.
