Floor console air conditioning in Brymbo
Where a room in Brymbo has deep cornicing or a picture rail, a console keeps the walls above it clear. North Wales has mild, damp weather for much of the year, so efficient heating and dehumidifying are big benefits.
Where a house in Brymbo has a bay window, a console can sit where the radiator was. We cover Brymbo as part of Clwyd, roughly 3 miles from Wrexham. Homes in LL11 are all within our coverage.
Prices in Brymbo
Floor console air conditioning in Brymbo typically comes in at £1,245–£2,745 per room including VAT, based on North Wales rates. It is a touch below the UK middle, as trade rates in North Wales tend to be. Longer or hidden pipe runs, high-level brackets and electrical upgrades are the usual reasons a quote lands at the top of the range. As an example, the Popular option (quieter console with Wi-Fi control for a living room) would typically be £1,645–£2,195 here.

Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
Since 1 June 2026, Welsh permitted development rules for outdoor units closely match England's: up to 1.5 m³, two units on a detached home, one on other homes, and MCS 020a noise compliance. Listed buildings need consent, and conservation areas have extra restrictions on units facing a road.
The survey
The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote. A survey in Brymbo usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes.
