Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Brecon
For a holiday home or annexe near Brecon, Wi-Fi control lets you warm it up before anyone arrives. South Wales summers can be warm and humid, and winters damp, so a reversible system earns its keep all year.
Smart control is a simple upgrade for Brecon homes with a working system but no app. Brecon is about 40 miles from Newtown and falls within our Powys coverage. We cover LD3 and the streets around them.
Prices in Brecon
Our South and Mid Wales guide price for smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades is £85–£270 per indoor unit, VAT included. That sits a little below the UK middle, reflecting typical South and Mid Wales labour rates. More indoor units, or older models that need an infrared controller instead of a plug-in adapter, are what move the price. As an example, the Whole system option (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) would typically be £225–£545 here.

Permissions
Fitting a Wi-Fi module does not touch the refrigerant circuit and needs no planning permission; the only checks are model compatibility and a reliable signal at the indoor unit.
The visit
Before booking, tell us the make and model and what the system is doing. We confirm the visit price, then the engineer arrives with the right equipment and, where possible, the right parts. A photo of the indoor unit's label and a short description of the problem help us price the visit accurately and bring what is likely to be needed.
