Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Newtown
For a holiday home or annexe near Newtown, Wi-Fi control lets you warm it up before anyone arrives. In South and Mid Wales, efficient heating is often as important as cooling.
Smart control is a simple upgrade for Newtown homes with a working system but no app. As well as Newtown itself, our Powys coverage takes in Brecon, Llandrindod Wells and the towns around them. Coverage includes SY16.
Prices in Newtown
Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Newtown typically come in at £85–£270 per indoor unit including VAT, based on South and Mid Wales rates. That sits a little below the UK middle, reflecting typical South and Mid Wales labour rates. More indoor units, or older models that need an infrared controller instead of a plug-in adapter, are what move the price. For reference, the Whole system option in Newtown (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) usually comes to about £225–£545.

Permissions
No planning or refrigerant work is involved in adding app control. If you rent your home in Newtown, a quick word with your landlord is still sensible before anything is fitted.
The visit
Before booking, tell us the make and model and what the system is doing. We confirm the visit price, then the engineer arrives with the right equipment and, where possible, the right parts. A photo of the indoor unit's label and a short description of the problem help us price the visit accurately and bring what is likely to be needed.
