Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Ystradgynlais

Smart control is a simple upgrade for Ystradgynlais homes with a working system but no app. In South and Mid Wales, efficient heating is often as important as cooling.

For a holiday home or annexe near Ystradgynlais, Wi-Fi control lets you warm it up before anyone arrives. Ystradgynlais is about 55 miles from Newtown and falls within our Powys coverage. Postcode districts we cover here include SA9.

Prices in Ystradgynlais

For Ystradgynlais, expect roughly £85 to £270 per indoor unit, VAT included, adjusted for typical South and Mid Wales rates. That sits a little below the UK middle, reflecting typical South and Mid Wales labour rates. More indoor units, or older models that need an infrared controller instead of a plug-in adapter, are what move the price. For reference, the Whole system option in Ystradgynlais (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) usually comes to about £225–£545.

Permissions

Smart control upgrades need no permissions. We confirm your model's compatibility before booking and check the Wi-Fi signal where the indoor unit is mounted.

The visit

A photo of the indoor unit's label and a short description of the problem help us price the visit accurately and bring what is likely to be needed. We agree the visit price before we come. On the day the engineer checks the system, carries out the agreed work and talks you through anything they find.
