Floor console air conditioning in Ystradgynlais
South Wales summers can be warm and humid, and winters damp, so a reversible system earns its keep all year. Where a house in Ystradgynlais has a bay window, a console can sit where the radiator was.
If your home in Ystradgynlais is bay-fronted or period, a console often suits it better than a high wall unit. Ystradgynlais sits around 55 miles from Newtown, inside our Powys area. Homes in SA9 are all within our coverage.

Planning and permissions
Wales removed its old 3 m boundary rule on 1 June 2026, so most houses in Ystradgynlais can now have an outdoor unit under permitted development if it meets the MCS 020a noise condition. Listed buildings still need consent, and conservation areas have extra restrictions.
The survey
On a survey in Ystradgynlais the engineer looks at room size, glazing, the route for pipes and drains, the electrics and where the outdoor unit can sit quietly, then the written quote follows. The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote.
