Floor console air conditioning in Ammanford
In South and Mid Wales, efficient heating is often as important as cooling. Where a house in Ammanford has a bay window, a console can sit where the radiator was.
Where a room in Ammanford has deep cornicing or a picture rail, a console keeps the walls above it clear. Ammanford lies roughly 14 miles from Carmarthen, and we cover it as part of Dyfed. Postcode districts we cover here include SA18.

Planning and permissions
Since 1 June 2026, Welsh permitted development rules for outdoor units closely match England's: up to 1.5 m³, two units on a detached home, one on other homes, and MCS 020a noise compliance. Listed buildings need consent, and conservation areas have extra restrictions on units facing a road.
The survey
Surveys in Ammanford cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare. A survey in Ammanford usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes.
