Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Pontardawe
South Wales summers can be warm and humid, and winters damp, so a reversible system earns its keep all year. Most home systems from the last decade can take a plug-in Wi-Fi adapter, and we confirm yours from the model number before visiting Pontardawe.
For a holiday home or annexe near Pontardawe, Wi-Fi control lets you warm it up before anyone arrives. Pontardawe is about 8 miles from Swansea and falls within our West Glamorgan coverage. Coverage includes SA8.
Prices in Pontardawe
In South and Mid Wales, our guide range for smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades is £85–£270 per indoor unit, including VAT. That sits a little below the UK middle, reflecting typical South and Mid Wales labour rates. More indoor units, or older models that need an infrared controller instead of a plug-in adapter, are what move the price. As an example, the Whole system option (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) would typically be £225–£545 here.

Permissions
Smart control upgrades need no permissions. We confirm your model's compatibility before booking and check the Wi-Fi signal where the indoor unit is mounted.
The visit
Before booking, tell us the make and model and what the system is doing. We confirm the visit price, then the engineer arrives with the right equipment and, where possible, the right parts. We agree the visit price before we come. On the day the engineer checks the system, carries out the agreed work and talks you through anything they find.
