Floor console air conditioning in Taunton
Where a room in Taunton has deep cornicing or a picture rail, a console keeps the walls above it clear. South West summers are milder on the coast, but sheltered towns and south-facing rooms still overheat, and efficient winter heating matters just as much.
If your home in Taunton is bay-fronted or period, a console often suits it better than a high wall unit. We cover Taunton and the rest of Somerset, including Bath and Weston-super-Mare. Homes in TA1 are all within our coverage.

If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
In England, most houses can have an outdoor unit under permitted development if it is no larger than 1.5 m³, meets the MCS 020(a) noise limit of 37 dB(A) at the nearest neighbour's window, and there are no more than two on a detached house or one on other houses. Listed buildings need consent.
The survey
We book surveys in Taunton at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards. Surveys in Taunton cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare.
