Floor console air conditioning in Urmston
Damp North West weather makes the dehumidifying mode of a modern split system genuinely useful for much of the year. Where a room in Urmston has deep cornicing or a picture rail, a console keeps the walls above it clear.
Where a house in Urmston has a bay window, a console can sit where the radiator was. Urmston is about 5 miles from Manchester and falls within our Greater Manchester coverage. Postcode districts we cover here include M41.

If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
In England, most houses can have an outdoor unit under permitted development if it is no larger than 1.5 m³, meets the MCS 020(a) noise limit of 37 dB(A) at the nearest neighbour's window, and there are no more than two on a detached house or one on other houses. Listed buildings need consent.
The survey
At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote. We book surveys in Urmston at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards.
