Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Dinas Powys
Humid summer spells in South Wales make dehumidifying and cooling equally welcome. Smart control is a simple upgrade for Dinas Powys homes with a working system but no app.
Most home systems from the last decade can take a plug-in Wi-Fi adapter, and we confirm yours from the model number before visiting Dinas Powys. Dinas Powys is about 3 miles from Cardiff and falls within our South Glamorgan coverage. We cover CF64 and the streets around them.
Prices in Dinas Powys
Our South and Mid Wales guide price for smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades is £85–£270 per indoor unit, VAT included. It is a touch below the UK middle, as trade rates in South and Mid Wales tend to be. The price depends on how many indoor units need a module and whether your model takes a manufacturer adapter or an infrared controller. For reference, the Whole system option in Dinas Powys (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) usually comes to about £225–£545.

Permissions
Fitting a Wi-Fi module does not touch the refrigerant circuit and needs no planning permission; the only checks are model compatibility and a reliable signal at the indoor unit.
The visit
A photo of the indoor unit's label and a short description of the problem help us price the visit accurately and bring what is likely to be needed. We agree the visit price before we come. On the day the engineer checks the system, carries out the agreed work and talks you through anything they find.
