Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Cardiff
For a holiday home or annexe near Cardiff, Wi-Fi control lets you warm it up before anyone arrives. In South and Mid Wales, efficient heating is often as important as cooling.
Most home systems from the last decade can take a plug-in Wi-Fi adapter, and we confirm yours from the model number before visiting Cardiff. As well as Cardiff itself, our South Glamorgan coverage takes in Barry, Penarth and the towns around them. That includes the CF10, CF11, CF14, CF15, CF23 and CF24 postcode districts.
Prices in Cardiff
Guide prices around Cardiff run from £85 to £270 per indoor unit including VAT. That sits a little below the UK middle, reflecting typical South and Mid Wales labour rates. The price depends on how many indoor units need a module and whether your model takes a manufacturer adapter or an infrared controller. On our South and Mid Wales figures, the Whole system option (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) is about £225–£545.

Permissions
Fitting a Wi-Fi module does not touch the refrigerant circuit and needs no planning permission; the only checks are model compatibility and a reliable signal at the indoor unit.
The visit
Visits in Cardiff are booked at a price agreed with you in advance. If the engineer finds anything beyond the agreed work, they explain it and price it before carrying it out. We agree the visit price before we come. On the day the engineer checks the system, carries out the agreed work and talks you through anything they find.
