Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Rickmansworth
Bright summers in the East of England mean solar gain through glass is usually the biggest load to design for. For a holiday home or annexe near Rickmansworth, Wi-Fi control lets you warm it up before anyone arrives.
Most home systems from the last decade can take a plug-in Wi-Fi adapter, and we confirm yours from the model number before visiting Rickmansworth. Rickmansworth is about 4 miles from Watford and falls within our Hertfordshire coverage. That includes the WD3 postcode district.
Prices in Rickmansworth
Our East of England guide price for smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades is £105–£330 per indoor unit, VAT included. The East of England is one of the dearer parts of the UK for trades, which shows in the range. More indoor units, or older models that need an infrared controller instead of a plug-in adapter, are what move the price. As an example, the Whole system option (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) would typically be £275–£645 here.

Permissions
Smart control upgrades need no permissions. We confirm your model's compatibility before booking and check the Wi-Fi signal where the indoor unit is mounted.
The visit
We agree the visit price before we come. On the day the engineer checks the system, carries out the agreed work and talks you through anything they find. Before booking, tell us the make and model and what the system is doing. We confirm the visit price, then the engineer arrives with the right equipment and, where possible, the right parts.
