Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Whitehaven
Milder summers in the North West mean designing for winter comfort as much as for a heatwave. For a holiday home or annexe near Whitehaven, Wi-Fi control lets you warm it up before anyone arrives.
Most home systems from the last decade can take a plug-in Wi-Fi adapter, and we confirm yours from the model number before visiting Whitehaven. Whitehaven sits around 35 miles from Carlisle, inside our Cumbria area. We cover CA28 and the streets around them.
Prices in Whitehaven
For Whitehaven, expect roughly £90 to £280 per indoor unit, VAT included, adjusted for typical North West England rates. That sits a little below the UK middle, reflecting typical North West England labour rates. More indoor units, or older models that need an infrared controller instead of a plug-in adapter, are what move the price. On our North West England figures, the Whole system option (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) is about £235–£545.

The visit
We agree the visit price before we come. On the day the engineer checks the system, carries out the agreed work and talks you through anything they find. A photo of the indoor unit's label and a short description of the problem help us price the visit accurately and bring what is likely to be needed.
