Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Colwyn Bay
For a holiday home or annexe near Colwyn Bay, Wi-Fi control lets you warm it up before anyone arrives. North Wales has mild, damp weather for much of the year, so efficient heating and dehumidifying are big benefits.
Most home systems from the last decade can take a plug-in Wi-Fi adapter, and we confirm yours from the model number before visiting Colwyn Bay. We cover Colwyn Bay as part of Clwyd, roughly 35 miles from Wrexham. Homes in LL29 are all within our coverage.
Prices in Colwyn Bay
Budget around £90–£275 per indoor unit including VAT for smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in and around Colwyn Bay. It is a touch below the UK middle, as trade rates in North Wales tend to be. More indoor units, or older models that need an infrared controller instead of a plug-in adapter, are what move the price. For reference, the Whole system option in Colwyn Bay (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) usually comes to about £230–£545.

Permissions
Fitting a Wi-Fi module does not touch the refrigerant circuit and needs no planning permission; the only checks are model compatibility and a reliable signal at the indoor unit.
The visit
We agree the visit price before we come. On the day the engineer checks the system, carries out the agreed work and talks you through anything they find. A photo of the indoor unit's label and a short description of the problem help us price the visit accurately and bring what is likely to be needed.
