Air conditioning replacement and removal across South Glamorgan
Units over fifteen years old in Cardiff homes are worth replacing before they fail completely. Replacements in Cardiff can often reuse an existing bracket and wall opening where they are sound. Wet South Wales winters make a heat pump's quiet, even heating and dehumidifying mode useful well beyond summer.

Planning and permissions
Since 1 June 2026, Welsh permitted development rules for outdoor units closely match England's: up to 1.5 m³, two units on a detached home, one on other homes, and MCS 020a noise compliance. Listed buildings need consent, and conservation areas have extra restrictions on units facing a road.
The survey
At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote. The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote.
