Air conditioning replacement and removal in Carshalton
During building work in Carshalton, units can be recovered and removed so the job can go ahead safely. Many London homes are flats or tall terraces, where heat rises to the top floor and the bedrooms bear the brunt of a hot spell.
Replacements in Carshalton can often reuse an existing bracket and wall opening where they are sound. Carshalton sits around 9 miles from central London, inside our London area. We cover SM5 and the streets around them.

Planning and permissions
In England, most houses can have an outdoor unit under permitted development if it is no larger than 1.5 m³, meets the MCS 020(a) noise limit of 37 dB(A) at the nearest neighbour's window, and there are no more than two on a detached house or one on other houses. Listed buildings need consent.
The survey
On a survey in Carshalton the engineer looks at room size, glazing, the route for pipes and drains, the electrics and where the outdoor unit can sit quietly, then the written quote follows. At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote.
