Air conditioning replacement and removal in Swanley
Hot spells reach the South East early, which makes spring the easiest time to arrange an installation. During building work in Swanley, units can be recovered and removed so the job can go ahead safely.
Units over fifteen years old in Swanley homes are worth replacing before they fail completely. Swanley lies roughly 17 miles from Maidstone, and we cover it as part of Kent. Coverage includes BR8.
Prices in Swanley
Budget around £240–£595 to remove and recover one system including VAT for air conditioning replacement and removal in and around Swanley. That is above the UK middle, mainly because labour and access cost more in South East England. Quotes move with the length of the pipe run, where the outdoor unit can sit and how much electrical work the job needs. On our South East England figures, the Like-for-like option (replace one system using sound existing routes) is about £1,395–£2,745.
Remove only
Recover and remove one system, make good.
Like-for-like
Replace one system using sound existing routes.
Upgrade
New, more efficient system with new routes.
Planning and permissions
England's rules let most houses fit an outdoor unit without a planning application, as long as the size, number and MCS 020(a) noise conditions are met. Flats, listed buildings and roof-mounted units are treated differently.
The survey
Surveys in Swanley cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare. At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote.
