Home gym and media room air conditioning across Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles
For a home cinema in Stornoway, we place the indoor unit so airflow stays away from the screen and seating. Garage gyms and media rooms in Stornoway often face the same problem: thin walls and a lot of heat from people and equipment. In the Highlands, Islands and the North East of Scotland, systems are sized for cold winter days first.
Prices in Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles
Air conditioning for home gyms and media rooms in Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles typically comes in at £1,195–£2,995 per room including VAT, based on Highlands, Islands and North East Scotland rates. Concealed pipework, access equipment for high walls and any electrical work are what push prices towards the upper figure. Planning and permissions
In Scotland, planning conditions for outdoor units depend on the property type and location; conservation areas and listed buildings need particular care.
