Home gym and media room air conditioning in Dunoon
For a home cinema in Dunoon, we place the indoor unit so airflow stays away from the screen and seating. Wind and salt air in the north of Scotland mean outdoor unit placement and protection need extra thought.
Basement and garage rooms in Dunoon usually need a quick check of the supply and the drainage route before quoting. We cover Dunoon as part of Argyll and Bute, roughly 39 miles from Oban. That includes the PA23 postcode district.
Prices in Dunoon
For Dunoon, expect roughly £1,195 to £2,995 per room, VAT included, adjusted for typical Highlands, Islands and North East Scotland rates. Longer or hidden pipe runs, high-level brackets and electrical upgrades are the usual reasons a quote lands at the top of the range. Planning and permissions
Scotland has its own permitted development rules for heat pumps and outdoor units, with stricter treatment of listed buildings and conservation areas. We check the current position for your property with you and, if needed, with the council.
The survey
Surveys in Dunoon are arranged around travel. We confirm the date and any travel, ferry or accommodation cost in writing before you commit, then the survey covers rooms, pipe routes, electrics and noise as normal. Where travel is involved, we agree the survey arrangements and any travel cost up front. On the day, the engineer measures the rooms, checks the electrics and agrees the outdoor unit position with you.
