Floor console air conditioning in Hanworth
If your home in Hanworth is bay-fronted or period, a console often suits it better than a high wall unit. In London, heat soaks into brick and concrete during the day and comes back out at night, which is when it is hardest to sleep.
Where a house in Hanworth has a bay window, a console can sit where the radiator was. We cover Hanworth as part of London, roughly 12 miles from central London. Homes in TW13 are all within our coverage.
Prices in Hanworth
For Hanworth, expect roughly £1,795 to £3,895 per room, VAT included, adjusted for typical London rates. That is above the UK middle, mainly because labour and access cost more in London. Quotes move with the length of the pipe run, where the outdoor unit can sit and how much electrical work the job needs. For reference, the Popular option in Hanworth (quieter console with Wi-Fi control for a living room) usually comes to about £2,295–£3,095.
Essential
Standard console for a bedroom or study.

Quieter console with Wi-Fi control for a living room.

Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
England's rules let most houses fit an outdoor unit without a planning application, as long as the size, number and MCS 020(a) noise conditions are met. Flats, listed buildings and roof-mounted units are treated differently.
The survey
We book surveys in Hanworth at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards. At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote.
