Floor console air conditioning in Ledbury
Hot spells in the West Midlands are shorter but intense, especially in loft rooms and rooms with big windows. If your home in Ledbury is bay-fronted or period, a console often suits it better than a high wall unit.
Where a room in Ledbury has deep cornicing or a picture rail, a console keeps the walls above it clear. Ledbury is about 12 miles from Hereford and falls within our Herefordshire coverage. Coverage includes HR8.

Planning and permissions
In England, most houses can have an outdoor unit under permitted development if it is no larger than 1.5 m³, meets the MCS 020(a) noise limit of 37 dB(A) at the nearest neighbour's window, and there are no more than two on a detached house or one on other houses. Listed buildings need consent.
The survey
Surveys in Ledbury cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare. On a survey in Ledbury the engineer looks at room size, glazing, the route for pipes and drains, the electrics and where the outdoor unit can sit quietly, then the written quote follows.
