Floor console air conditioning in Cwmbran
If your home in Cwmbran is bay-fronted or period, a console often suits it better than a high wall unit. In South and Mid Wales, efficient heating is often as important as cooling.
Where a house in Cwmbran has a bay window, a console can sit where the radiator was. We cover Cwmbran as part of Gwent, roughly 5 miles from Newport, Gwent. Coverage includes NP44.

Our South and Mid Wales guide price for floor console air conditioning is £1,245–£2,695 per room, VAT included. It is a touch below the UK middle, as trade rates in South and Mid Wales tend to be. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
In Wales, outdoor units of up to 1.5 m³ that meet MCS 020a noise limits are usually permitted development on houses; listed buildings need consent, and in conservation areas a unit cannot go on a wall or roof facing a road.
The survey
A survey in Cwmbran usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes. The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote.
