Floor console air conditioning in Leigh
Milder summers in the North West mean designing for winter comfort as much as for a heatwave. Where a house in Leigh has a bay window, a console can sit where the radiator was.
If your home in Leigh is bay-fronted or period, a console often suits it better than a high wall unit. We cover Leigh as part of Greater Manchester, roughly 12 miles from Manchester. Homes in WN7 are all within our coverage.
Prices in Leigh
Guide prices around Leigh run from £1,295 to £2,795 per room including VAT. It is a touch below the UK middle, as trade rates in North West England tend to be. For reference, the Popular option in Leigh (quieter console with Wi-Fi control for a living room) usually comes to about £1,645–£2,245.

If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
For most houses in Leigh, the outdoor unit is permitted development if it passes the MCS 020(a) noise check (37 dB(A) or less at the nearest neighbouring window) and stays within the size and number limits. We run that check on survey.
The survey
The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote. We book surveys in Leigh at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards.
