Floor console air conditioning in Chelmsford
Bright summers in the East of England mean solar gain through glass is usually the biggest load to design for. If your home in Chelmsford is bay-fronted or period, a console often suits it better than a high wall unit.
Where a house in Chelmsford has a bay window, a console can sit where the radiator was. Chelmsford lies roughly 17 miles from Southend-on-Sea, and we cover it as part of Essex. That includes the CM1 postcode district.

Planning and permissions
For most houses in Chelmsford, the outdoor unit is permitted development if it passes the MCS 020(a) noise check (37 dB(A) or less at the nearest neighbouring window) and stays within the size and number limits. We run that check on survey.
The survey
Surveys in Chelmsford cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare. We book surveys in Chelmsford at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards.
