Floor console air conditioning in Basildon
Low rainfall and long summer days in the East of England make south-facing rooms the first to overheat. If your home in Basildon is bay-fronted or period, a console often suits it better than a high wall unit.
Where a room in Basildon has deep cornicing or a picture rail, a console keeps the walls above it clear. Our Essex coverage takes in Basildon, about 11 miles from Southend-on-Sea. We cover SS14 and the streets around them.

Typical Popular work (quieter console with Wi-Fi control for a living room) lands around £1,945–£2,645 in this area.

Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
England's rules let most houses fit an outdoor unit without a planning application, as long as the size, number and MCS 020(a) noise conditions are met. Flats, listed buildings and roof-mounted units are treated differently.

We book surveys in Basildon at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards.
