Floor console air conditioning in Rottingdean
If your home in Rottingdean is bay-fronted or period, a console often suits it better than a high wall unit. Hot spells reach the South East early, which makes spring the easiest time to arrange an installation.
Where a room in Rottingdean has deep cornicing or a picture rail, a console keeps the walls above it clear. We cover Rottingdean as part of East Sussex, roughly 4 miles from Brighton. Homes in BN2 and BN51 are all within our coverage.

Planning and permissions
Since 29 May 2025, England's permitted development rules allow larger outdoor units (up to 1.5 m³) and no longer require a 1 m gap to the boundary, provided the MCS 020(a) noise check is met. Listed buildings and pitched-roof installs still need permission.
The survey
At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote. Surveys in Rottingdean cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare.
