Floor console air conditioning in Kendal
North West summers are cooler, so many systems here earn their keep as efficient heaters, with cooling for the warmest weeks. Where a room in Kendal has deep cornicing or a picture rail, a console keeps the walls above it clear.
Where a house in Kendal has a bay window, a console can sit where the radiator was. Our Cumbria coverage takes in Kendal, about 40 miles from Carlisle. Coverage includes LA9.

Planning and permissions
In England, most houses can have an outdoor unit under permitted development if it is no larger than 1.5 m³, meets the MCS 020(a) noise limit of 37 dB(A) at the nearest neighbour's window, and there are no more than two on a detached house or one on other houses. Listed buildings need consent.
The survey
A survey in Kendal usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes. The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote.
