Ducted air conditioning in Milford Haven
Wet South Wales winters make a heat pump's quiet, even heating and dehumidifying mode useful well beyond summer. For a renovation in Milford Haven, the best time to plan ducted cooling is before the plasterers arrive.
Ducted systems suit Milford Haven loft conversions and new extensions where ceilings are being boarded anyway. Our Dyfed coverage takes in Milford Haven, about 33 miles from Carmarthen. That includes the SA73 postcode district.

HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
Wales removed its old 3 m boundary rule on 1 June 2026, so most houses in Milford Haven can now have an outdoor unit under permitted development if it meets the MCS 020a noise condition. Listed buildings still need consent, and conservation areas have extra restrictions.
The survey
The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote. Surveys in Milford Haven cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare.
