Design-led and low-profile air conditioning in Droitwich
In Droitwich, a flat-fronted unit is a neat way to add cooling to a living room without a bulky white box. In the West Midlands, sizing for winter heating first and then checking summer cooling usually gives the best all-year system.
For Droitwich houses with decorated or panelled walls, a slim unit with concealed pipework keeps the room looking finished. Droitwich is about 6 miles from Worcester and falls within our Worcestershire coverage. Homes in WR9 are all within our coverage.
Prices in Droitwich
For Droitwich, expect roughly £1,795 to £3,595 per room, VAT included, adjusted for typical West Midlands rates. That is broadly in line with national guide prices. Concealed pipework, access equipment for high walls and any electrical work are what push prices towards the upper figure. For reference, the Flat-fronted option in Droitwich (flat panel unit in white, black or silver for a living room) usually comes to about £2,195–£2,895.

Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
England's rules let most houses fit an outdoor unit without a planning application, as long as the size, number and MCS 020(a) noise conditions are met. Flats, listed buildings and roof-mounted units are treated differently.
The survey
We book surveys in Droitwich at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards. On a survey in Droitwich the engineer looks at room size, glazing, the route for pipes and drains, the electrics and where the outdoor unit can sit quietly, then the written quote follows.
