Design-led and low-profile air conditioning in Clitheroe
For Clitheroe houses with decorated or panelled walls, a slim unit with concealed pipework keeps the room looking finished. Damp North West weather makes the dehumidifying mode of a modern split system genuinely useful for much of the year.
In Clitheroe, a flat-fronted unit is a neat way to add cooling to a living room without a bulky white box. We cover Clitheroe as part of Lancashire, roughly 14 miles from Preston. Postcode districts we cover here include BB7.

Planning and permissions
Since 29 May 2025, England's permitted development rules allow larger outdoor units (up to 1.5 m³) and no longer require a 1 m gap to the boundary, provided the MCS 020(a) noise check is met. Listed buildings and pitched-roof installs still need permission.
