Design-led and low-profile air conditioning in Wigan
North West summers are cooler, so many systems here earn their keep as efficient heaters, with cooling for the warmest weeks. Design-led units suit Wigan homes with feature walls or open-plan rooms where the unit is always in view.
In Wigan, a flat-fronted unit is a neat way to add cooling to a living room without a bulky white box. Our Greater Manchester coverage takes in Wigan, about 17 miles from Manchester. Coverage includes WN1.

Planning and permissions
For most houses in Wigan, the outdoor unit is permitted development if it passes the MCS 020(a) noise check (37 dB(A) or less at the nearest neighbouring window) and stays within the size and number limits. We run that check on survey.
The survey
We book surveys in Wigan at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards. On a survey in Wigan the engineer looks at room size, glazing, the route for pipes and drains, the electrics and where the outdoor unit can sit quietly, then the written quote follows.
