Planning and permissions
In Northern Ireland we confirm planning requirements for the outdoor unit on survey, especially for listed buildings and conservation areas.
The survey
At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote. Surveys in Derry/Londonderry cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare.
