Prices in Magherafelt
In Northern Ireland, our guide range for wall-mounted air conditioning is £1,045–£2,695 per room, including VAT. Labour rates in Northern Ireland keep this slightly under the national middle. Concealed pipework, access equipment for high walls and any electrical work are what push prices towards the upper figure. For reference, the Popular option in Magherafelt (quieter mid-range unit with Wi-Fi control and better seasonal efficiency for a living room) usually comes to about £1,445–£1,995.

Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
In Northern Ireland we confirm planning requirements for the outdoor unit on survey, especially for listed buildings and conservation areas.
The survey
At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote. We book surveys in Magherafelt at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards.
