Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Westminster
Many London homes are flats or tall terraces, where heat rises to the top floor and the bedrooms bear the brunt of a hot spell. Smart control is a simple upgrade for Westminster homes with a working system but no app.
Most home systems from the last decade can take a plug-in Wi-Fi adapter, and we confirm yours from the model number before visiting Westminster. Westminster sits within our London area. Postcode districts we cover here include SW1A, SW1E, SW1H, SW1P, SW1V and SW1W.
Prices in Westminster
For Westminster, expect roughly £125 to £390 per indoor unit, VAT included, adjusted for typical London rates. Prices here sit above the national middle, reflecting London labour rates and parking and access costs. The price depends on how many indoor units need a module and whether your model takes a manufacturer adapter or an infrared controller. For reference, the Whole system option in Westminster (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) usually comes to about £325–£795.

Permissions
Fitting a Wi-Fi module does not touch the refrigerant circuit and needs no planning permission; the only checks are model compatibility and a reliable signal at the indoor unit.
The visit
A photo of the indoor unit's label and a short description of the problem help us price the visit accurately and bring what is likely to be needed. Visits in Westminster are booked at a price agreed with you in advance. If the engineer finds anything beyond the agreed work, they explain it and price it before carrying it out.
