Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Motherwell
Long Scottish heating seasons make efficiency in cold, damp weather the thing to design around. Smart control is a simple upgrade for Motherwell homes with a working system but no app.
Most home systems from the last decade can take a plug-in Wi-Fi adapter, and we confirm yours from the model number before visiting Motherwell. Motherwell sits around 2 miles from Hamilton, inside our Lanarkshire area. Coverage includes ML1.
Prices in Motherwell
Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Motherwell typically come in at £85–£270 per indoor unit including VAT, based on Central and Southern Scotland rates. That sits a little below the UK middle, reflecting typical Central and Southern Scotland labour rates. More indoor units, or older models that need an infrared controller instead of a plug-in adapter, are what move the price. As an example, the Whole system option (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) would typically be £225–£545 here.

Permissions
Fitting a Wi-Fi module does not touch the refrigerant circuit and needs no planning permission; the only checks are model compatibility and a reliable signal at the indoor unit.
The visit
A photo of the indoor unit's label and a short description of the problem help us price the visit accurately and bring what is likely to be needed. Before booking, tell us the make and model and what the system is doing. We confirm the visit price, then the engineer arrives with the right equipment and, where possible, the right parts.
