Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Thurso

Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Thurso

Wind and salt air in the north of Scotland mean outdoor unit placement and protection need extra thought. For a holiday home or annexe near Thurso, Wi-Fi control lets you warm it up before anyone arrives.

Most home systems from the last decade can take a plug-in Wi-Fi adapter, and we confirm yours from the model number before visiting Thurso. Thurso lies roughly 81 miles from Inverness, and we cover it as part of the Highlands. Homes in KW14 are all within our coverage.

Prices in Thurso

Guide prices around Thurso run from £85 to £265 per indoor unit including VAT. More indoor units, or older models that need an infrared controller instead of a plug-in adapter, are what move the price. Typical Whole system work (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) lands around £220–£545 in this area. These figures exclude travel to Thurso. Any travel, ferry or accommodation cost is quoted separately, in writing, before anything is booked.

Permissions

No planning or refrigerant work is involved in adding app control. If you rent your home in Thurso, a quick word with your landlord is still sensible before anything is fitted.

The visit

Visits in Thurso are by arrangement. We quote the full cost, including any travel or ferry time, in writing before booking, and agree any extra work with you before it is done. Because travel is involved, we confirm the visit date and the full price in writing first, and where possible combine visits to keep the cost down.
