Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Altrincham
Smart control is a simple upgrade for Altrincham homes with a working system but no app. Damp North West weather makes the dehumidifying mode of a modern split system genuinely useful for much of the year.
For a holiday home or annexe near Altrincham, Wi-Fi control lets you warm it up before anyone arrives. Altrincham sits around 8 miles from Manchester, inside our Greater Manchester area. Postcode districts we cover here include WA14.
Prices in Altrincham
Budget around £90–£280 per indoor unit including VAT for smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in and around Altrincham. It is a touch below the UK middle, as trade rates in North West England tend to be. More indoor units, or older models that need an infrared controller instead of a plug-in adapter, are what move the price. As an example, the Whole system option (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) would typically be £235–£545 here.

Permissions
Fitting a Wi-Fi module does not touch the refrigerant circuit and needs no planning permission; the only checks are model compatibility and a reliable signal at the indoor unit.
The visit
A photo of the indoor unit's label and a short description of the problem help us price the visit accurately and bring what is likely to be needed. Visits in Altrincham are booked at a price agreed with you in advance. If the engineer finds anything beyond the agreed work, they explain it and price it before carrying it out.
