Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Ferndown

Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Ferndown

Damp South West winters make the dehumidifying side of a heat pump almost as useful as its cooling. Most home systems from the last decade can take a plug-in Wi-Fi adapter, and we confirm yours from the model number before visiting Ferndown.

Smart control is a simple upgrade for Ferndown homes with a working system but no app. Ferndown lies roughly 6 miles from Bournemouth, and we cover it as part of Dorset. Coverage includes BH22.

Prices in Ferndown

Budget around £95–£295 per indoor unit including VAT for smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in and around Ferndown. That is broadly in line with national guide prices. The price depends on how many indoor units need a module and whether your model takes a manufacturer adapter or an infrared controller. Typical Whole system work (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) lands around £245–£595 in this area.

Permissions

Smart control upgrades need no permissions. We confirm your model's compatibility before booking and check the Wi-Fi signal where the indoor unit is mounted.

The visit

A photo of the indoor unit's label and a short description of the problem help us price the visit accurately and bring what is likely to be needed. Visits in Ferndown are booked at a price agreed with you in advance. If the engineer finds anything beyond the agreed work, they explain it and price it before carrying it out.
