Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Peterborough
Most home systems from the last decade can take a plug-in Wi-Fi adapter, and we confirm yours from the model number before visiting Peterborough. The East of England is one of the sunniest and driest parts of the UK, which makes glazed rooms and lofts hard to keep cool.
Smart control is a simple upgrade for Peterborough homes with a working system but no app. We cover Peterborough and the rest of Cambridgeshire, including Cambridge and Wisbech. Postcode districts we cover here include PE1.
Prices in Peterborough
Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Peterborough typically come in at £105–£330 per indoor unit including VAT, based on East of England rates. Prices here sit above the national middle, reflecting East of England labour rates and parking and access costs. More indoor units, or older models that need an infrared controller instead of a plug-in adapter, are what move the price. Typical Whole system work (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) lands around £275–£645 in this area.

Permissions
No planning or refrigerant work is involved in adding app control. If you rent your home in Peterborough, a quick word with your landlord is still sensible before anything is fitted.
The visit
Visits in Peterborough are booked at a price agreed with you in advance. If the engineer finds anything beyond the agreed work, they explain it and price it before carrying it out. A photo of the indoor unit's label and a short description of the problem help us price the visit accurately and bring what is likely to be needed.
