Smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in Ballymena

Damp Northern Ireland winters make a heat pump's dehumidifying mode useful well beyond the summer. Most home systems from the last decade can take a plug-in Wi-Fi adapter, and we confirm yours from the model number before visiting Ballymena.

Smart control is a simple upgrade for Ballymena homes with a working system but no app. Our County Antrim coverage takes in Ballymena, about 23 miles from Belfast. Coverage includes BT42, BT43 and BT44.

Prices in Ballymena

Budget around £85–£270 per indoor unit including VAT for smart controls and Wi-Fi upgrades in and around Ballymena. It is a touch below the UK middle, as trade rates in Northern Ireland tend to be. More indoor units, or older models that need an infrared controller instead of a plug-in adapter, are what move the price. As an example, the Whole system option (modules for two to four indoor units, one app) would typically be £225–£545 here.

The visit

We agree the visit price before we come. On the day the engineer checks the system, carries out the agreed work and talks you through anything they find. A photo of the indoor unit's label and a short description of the problem help us price the visit accurately and bring what is likely to be needed.
